The volume documents the creation of the fountain that Daniel Buren created in the park of Villa La Magia in Pistoia which joins the others that in recent years have enriched the vast green space in which the villa is immersed. "Installed on the lawn overlooking the Medici villa "La Magia", - says Giuliano Gori in his essay - in a frontal position with respect to the prestigious view offered by the Montalbano ridge, it is a presence that redefines the surrounding space, allowing for a new interpretation. A hexagonal environment, whose walls made of Carrara marble measure 3x3x0.45 meters - externally smooth like a screen - alternated with an access void of 6 meters. A bench, also hexagonal, placed in the center of the space internal, equipped with an emissive source of water which creates a light and restful gurgle and invites pause and dialogue; the marble walls are rigorously engraved with 8.7 cm vertical stripes - the colors yellow, blue and red alternate on the surfaces where water flows, while the others remain natural.
