That seclusion was more… pronounced in 1950 when the author and her family moved there from California. 255 pages with a few family b/w snapshots as illustration. Cond : Paper wrapper is off white with very dark brown lettering. Front cover graphic is a composite of three b/w snaps and a colour photo of Puntzi Lake Lodge. Volume is tight , bright and clean. A few points of v. light wear including `corrections' in ink of two printer's errors. Three folded corners, no creases, no tears. Almost giftable family memoir. Quote (p. 47) : " Our special spot was up where our creek flowed out of the river. The inlet had a headgate to control the flowof water into the creek.
