He has published numerous poetry reviews, particular in Overland, and continues to work as a private poetry editor. While he has published seven collections and his work has been selected for many Australia anthologies, he still continues to concentrate on poems for magazines and newspapers. He hopes to add to his 1000 individually published poems even after this, his last collection. Rowlands has published poetry for over forty years.
