Covers have mild edge wear and significant toning, but remain in good condition and are now housed in a protective mylar cover. Corners are square. Binding is tight and secure. Previous owner names written in black on the FFEP. Pages are toned with mild foxing, particularly along the fore edge, but are otherwise crisp and clean. Images are printed in B&W. Numerous fold-out maps, all in good condition. Includes separate brochure at the rear. Brochure has stamping to the front cover that reads "Property of CAHA New England Air Museum Reference Library", but no other ex-library markings. Brochure is mildly toned throughout, but all five fold-out maps otherwise remain in good condition. A good copy. This volume comes from the Aviation collection of Prof. Chris Sterling. Sterling spent his lifetime teaching, writing, and collecting books on civil and military aviation. We are proud to house his Aviation collection, part of the extensive library which is his legacy. Skinner apparently by the author, leaves browned, tail of lower wrapper and a few leaves trifle damp damaged, otherwise a clean and sound copy. First edition of this Sundanese collection of prose and poetry by Rusman Sutiasumarga, a recognised Sundanese and Indonesian writer who later worked as an editor at Balai Pustaka. A significant regional-language Balai Pustaka publication from the mid-1960s, uncommon in the first edition.

Owner name with stop-over dates listed in pencil on the front paste-down beginning in London April 3rd 1936 and reaching Karachi by the 8th. Lacks the promotional brochure but at the rear is a folded complimentary card with the Amsterdam -Batavia cabin plan of the Fokker-Douglas DC-2, with seven numbered seats, listing the names of the five passengers and their seat numbers and four crew. The names of the KLM Commander, first officer, board engineer and wireless operator are typed on the cover. 23 x 16cm and dated 4.4.36. A fascinating glimpse into the early days of global travel.
