Tieto slova Pesachovej hagady sa kazdorocne opakuju v zidovskych domacnostiach pri sederovej veceri, kde si pripominaju vyslobodenie z otroctva. Buduci rok v Bratislave. Tieto slova sa stali zaklinadlom zidovskych emigrantov, ktori opustili Slovensko po 21. auguste 1968. Nasli si nove domovy v roznych krajinach, postavili domy, zasadili stromy a vychovali deti, no cast ich identity zostala spojena s krajinou mladosti. Mnohi z nich sa opakovane vracali do ,svojho mesta", stretavali pribuznych a priatelov, obnovovali spomienky a ochutnavali jedla, ktore najlepsie chutia prave tam. Napriek tomu vsak nenasli atmosferu svojej mladosti, pretoze v Bratislave zostala len hrstka Zidov povojnovej generacie, zatial co vacsina rovesnikov emigrovala. To viedlo k myslienke Stretnutia mladych clenov zidovskej komunity pred rokom 1968. Niektori sa rozhodli naplnit svoje tuzby a zorganizovali stretnutie, pricom sa k nim pridavali dalsi dobrovolnici. Spontanna skupina sa postupne premenila na kolektiv so spolocnym cielom. V maji 2005 sa Bratislava stala dejiskom tohto Stretnutia. Kniha rozprava o jeho pripravach, priebehu a emociach, ktore ho sprevadzali, a patri vsetkym, ktori pomohli zmenit sen na realitu.…

The Introduction contains characteristics of the applied research techniques. The first chapter deals with the community in the process of the ghetto opening at the end of the 18th century; it focuses on the Holocaust survivor's identity and their attitude to Judaism. The second chapter analyzes the children of the Holocaust . The impact of diverse factors (religiosity, Israel, Slovakia, Holocaust, Communist society) on identity of the children of the Holocaust is studied here.
