(Bill) Fordyce when he was guest speaker at the 35th AGM of the hospital (so inscribed on the upper free endpaper). Horace Spencer Wills ("Bill") Fordyce (1914-2008) was the last Australian survivor of the attempted mass break-out from a German prisoner-of-war camp during World War II.
