Though intended to extend to 1850, Skelton died before completing the work. Cartographer David Woodward's copy, with his name neatly rubberstamped on the free endsheet, and a prospectus for the book taped in opposite. Hardcover, as pictured. General wear, corners bumped, jacket missing, minor fading to spine; crease to first few leaves. Text clean; vii, blank, 262 pages, indexes, plates - some folding. Size: Large Octavo.
