The first 30 or so pages are very brittle with the first 6 leaves now separated. No text is lost, but would need handling with care. A fair copy.

Between the season of 1888-89 and 1896-97 21 clubs appeared in the First Division of the Football League. This work covers only the 16 clubs in the top flight for the 1896-97 season, with each chapter dedicated to one club offering a history of its formation and a line drawing of its leading personality.
