Published by Howard Timmins in 1963, here is the third impression hardback printing of Dorothy E Rivett-Carnac's THUS CAME THE ENGLISH IN 1820 illustrated by Ernest Ullmann. White cloth binding, green spine lettering, 147 pages, illustrations the book is in fair condition with some staining and browning mainly to the cloth covered boards and end papers plus some light dusty spotting to the extreme outsides of the page edges. The dust jacket is fair to good with some browning to the spine and to the edges of the jacket plus some chipping and light tearing to the edges and corners.
