In diesem Buch sind erstmalig neben den Lebensberichten Fakten aus Potsdamer und Berliner Archiven veröffentlicht, deren zeitgeschichtliche Akten zu DDR-Zeiten schwer oder gar nicht zugänglich waren. Dazu gehören auch Materialien aus der NS-Zeit.
