Rare with Worldcat locating 7 institutions. The introduction covers Government, history, crafts and industries, oil, economy, geography, the role of women, and festivals. Chapters cover Arrival (airport, climate, clothes, hotels etc); Day to Day (accommodation, utilities, home maintenance, shopping, language schools etc); Bahrain Portfolio (a colour photo section); Working in Bahrain (legal, conditions, Chamber of Commerce, protocol); Leisure (media - including reception of Aramco, Dubai and Qatar TV stations, clubs, parties, places of interest, tours, airlines); and Islam (a history from pre-Islamic times and explanation).
