De ahí surgen una serie de mitos prehistóricos muy arraigados en nuestro acervo cultural que, precisamente por ello, son difíciles de reconocer y, mucho más, de desmontar. . Confundir así los mitos con la realidad, la especulación con los hechos, tiene el efecto nocivo de oscurecer nuestra capacidad de identificar las creencias con las que justificamos las estructuras de poder y los onerosos deberes ciudadanos de la actualidad.
